Located in the eastern half of Nepal, the Mt. Everest or SoluKhumbu
region offers a wide range of trekking experiences. The SoluKhumbu
is justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the earth's
highest mountain (8850m), but also for its Sherpa villages,
ancient monasteries and beautiful glacial lakes.
Besides Everest, there are three other 8000m peaks in the
region: Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu and numerous other peaks
of lesser altitude but no less stunning. From Kala Pattar
and Gokyo Ri, there are outstanding views of Mt Everest along
with Nuptse, Lhotse and the other giants. Reaching Everest
is a feasible goal for most fit trekkers; each individual
will leave with memories that will last a lifetime.
We offer three treks in this region; each trekking route
is note worthy and explore different combinations of the three
main valleys of the Khumbu.
