Custom
Departures Year Round
The best way to experience travelling in
Nepal is on a customized vacation. In addition to the treks featured on
this website there are many, many more treks which can be organised to
suit your timescale and individual requirements -- simply contact us to
discuss your plans and we can quote you a price.
Our
Story
We are not the largest trekking company in the Himalayas, but we are
among the best. Choose a Nepalese company for travel in Nepal -- we are
experienced, organized, and ready to go! Peak Paldor Trekking &
Expeditions is your best choice.
Personal
Service
You and your friends are important to us, never just another 'file'. We
go the extra mile planning the trip, informing the group members,
answering their questions, and caring for their needs large and small
while they are our guests. We understand that this is a service
business and the only way to measure success is by guest satisfaction.
Please write to us by email to introduce
yourselves. We would love to discuss your trip, and how we can help you
discover the best of the Himalayas.
We can handle groups of 1 to 100 people. We
care for our clients as our friends and our business partners as our
customers. Low net rates and first class service make Peak Paldor
Trekking & Expeditions your best value in the Himalayas. There
are many companies that offer Nepal treks at a lower price but this is
usually at the expense of staff and porter's health and well-being. We
make sure that all of our staff earn fair-wages and are adequately
equipped and cared for in the mountains.
Customization
In addition to the treks featured on this website there are many, many
more treks & expeditions which can be organised to suit your
timescale and individual requirements -- simply contact us to discuss
your plans and we can quote you a price. For example you may wish to:
- take one of our treks at a time that
suits your schedule.
- take longer over a particular trek in
order to savour the spectacular surroundings, or to spend time in
particular areas or villages.
- combine some treks, for example, the
Annapurna Circuit and Sanctuary treks can be easily combined into a
fantastic trekking experience.
- visit less frequented areas.
- have more of a wilderness trekking
experience.
- extend your trek by walking into or out
of the main route by another route e.g. entry to the Khumbu via the
Arun Valley, or from Jiri.
- try one of the 'trekking peaks' along
the route.
- combine a range of sightseeing, rafting,
jungle safari and trekking into a schedule to suit your interests and
timescale.
Whatever your special needs or ideas please
contact our office and we will give advice and try our best to
accommodate you. Together we will discuss your interests and schedule
and put together an itinerary complete with all of the logistical
details of your own personal Nepal experience.
All of the prices include the following:
1.Transfers from and to Kathmandu
International Airport, and also Kathmandu Domestic Airport as indicated
by the itinerary.
2. Hotel accommodation based on double occupancy.
We use a variety of 3-star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Please note
that this is room only and the additional cost of meals is your
responsibility. Please allow $20 per day for this.
3. Internal transport within Nepal: this is as indicated by the
itinerary and can include domestic flights by small aircraft where
necessary. Note that bad weather in mountainous regions can cause
flight delays. If you are delayed by bad weather prior to trek
departure we will meet your accommodation costs. If the delay is
extended by two days it may be necessary for us to re-route the trek,
perhaps to an area more accessible by road. If you are delayed by bad
weather at the end of the trek we will meet your accommodation and food
costs for the basic tour dates. Unfortunately we cannot accept
responsibility for charges incurred as a result of missed international
flight connections. However we will help you to organise your ongoing
arrangements. In this situation we would recommend that you make a
claim against your insurance policy.
4. Accommodation on the trek as indicated by the itinerary (either in
two person tents or local lodges).
5. Provision of all meals on the trek.
6. All trekking permit, climbing permit, National Park, ACAP and
Restricted Area permit fees, as required.
7. Provision of appropriate Trekking staff
Prices exclude:
1. International airfare to Nepal.
2. Meals at airports and whilst in Kathmandu - allow $20 per day.
3. Entry Visa fees - at present $30 on entry in Nepal.
4. Insurance.
5. Items of a personal nature such as laundry, tips, alcoholic drinks,
soft drinks, bottled water, additional tours etc. Note that tipping is
expected but is not mandatory. However, every trekker seems to want to
reward the trekking crew. The recommended tipping scale works out to an
average of $2.50 per trekker per trekking day.
6. Disembarkation Airport Tax in Nepal - approx. $15.
